About Us

Rebuild2Reintegrate is a transformative program initiated by passionate members of Enactus at Southwest Minnesota State University. Our team is made up of committed and socially-driven students who are united by a common goal: to empower individuals who were formerly incarcerated by connecting them with essential tools and resources.

We believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and through education, support, and opportunity, we aim to help rebuild lives and foster successful reintegration into society.

Mission

Our mission is centered on providing vital resources to individuals who were previously incarcerated, with the goal of helping them transition smoothly back into civilian life. We understand the challenges that come with reintegration, and we are committed to offering support systems that foster independence, stability, and growth. By empowering these individuals with access to education, employment opportunities, housing, and mental health services, we aim to break the cycle of incarceration and actively contribute to reducing the rate of recidivism nationwide.

Our vision is to live in a society where individuals who were formerly incarcerated are not judged by their past but are instead recognized for their potential to contribute meaningfully to their communities. We believe in creating a culture of compassion, understanding, and equity—one that prioritizes healing, growth, and opportunity over stigma and exclusion.

We envision a future where every person, regardless of their history, has equal access to the resources they need to rebuild their lives—whether that means education, employment, housing, mental health services, or community support. Reintegration should not come with shame or barriers, but with encouragement and a clear path toward stability and success. Through advocacy, awareness, and direct action, we strive to challenge societal biases and replace them with a framework rooted in dignity, inclusion, and hope.
